Hecht is a licensed Wedding Officiant serving Las Vegas, Nevada and the surrounding areas, including resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard (The Las Vegas Strip), Paradise, Nevada, Resorts, Hotels, Private Homes, Apartments and Time Shares in Las Vegas, Lake Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston and almost any location within Las Vegas where a couple chooses to be married!
Each wedding ceremony performed by Dr. Micki is especially created with the Bride and Groom in mind. We ask that each couple share a "mini biography" of their love and relationship along with a bit about each of their "families of origin" - parents, grandparents, siblings, family faith background, personal faith leanings, if either of them have children, pets, hobbies or "passions in life" - other than each other! We then take the information that you have shared and use that information to create a very special custom wedding ceremony that is made to suit YOU!
Dr. Micki can perform almost any wedding type or style that you can envision or feel that you need to help fulfill your "wedding dreams!". Her specialty is in "Non-Denominational" or "Inter-Denominational" ceremonies, but she has created wedding ceremonies for Buddhist Couples, Hindus, Christians, Muslims and even Atheists'! Some couples choose to have a legal "Civil Wedding Ceremony" with no mention of God, and that is something that she has certainly done many times!
Her husband Rabbi Dr. Melvin Hecht is an ordained rabbi with over 50 years experience. He was a Former Army Chaplain as well as a Congregational and Community Rabbi in Las Vegas! Rabbi Mel loves to meet with couples before their wedding day and also asks couples to share their "history" as a couple, so that he has the "tools" to create a Jewish Wedding Ceremony for Jewish and Interfaith Couples! We use the information that you have shared with us to give us a "sense" of the two of you and what you might like o hear on your wedding day!
We have been creating and performing legal wedding ceremonies and renewal of vows anniversary ceremonies for couples in and around the Las Vegas area for over 40 years. We are same gender couple friendly and welcome all couples who share a mutual love of one another and a desire to be legally married!
