Larry works closely with each couple to design a unique and original program that reflects their personalities. Whether you desire a simple ceremony or have a clear vision with discriminating tastes, Larry will take the time to understand you and your family dynamic. This ensures the perfect ceremony is scripted to your satisfaction, including the choice of religious or spiritual references, if any.
Each consultation aims to uncover your sensitivities and expectations regarding the ceremony’s overall structure. While Larry considers himself non-denominational, he is open to incorporating any traditions, ideas, or cultural expressions important to you and your family.
On the day of the event, Larry arrives approximately 30 minutes before the start time to coordinate with your wedding team. He manages the wedding license, secures all on-site signatures, and files the documents to make your marriage official and legal.
The Love Story Presentation & Parents Tribute
Larry’s ceremonies feature two hallmark elements: The Love Story Presentation and The Parents Tribute.
- The Love Story Presentation: This feature provides a beautiful recount of how the couple met and fell in love. Larry, a graduate of the Marbecca Method Love Story Workshop, is uniquely qualified to craft and deliver this captivating story, leaving every guest enchanted.
- The Parents Tribute: This original feature honors the parents with a moving tribute that acknowledges their dedication and the influence they have had on the couple. This tribute also includes mentions of grandparents and other significant figures, creating a generational tribute that often brings tears to the eyes of those present.
Professional Bio
Larry has been dedicated to the wedding business for over 34 years and currently serves as President of the Northern Nevada Bridal Association, the largest wedding organization in Nevada. He owns and operates The Reno Tahoe DJ Company and has performed in more than 2,000 weddings. Larry’s unmatched experience and training include being the only Wedding Entertainment Director certified in Nevada, ensuring the highest standards of service.
Ceremony Music
Larry offers an optional, affordable music package for your ceremony. This includes one hour of service with a half hour of pre-ceremony music, the Bridesmaids & Brides March, a wireless microphone for Larry, and a Recessional March. This package enhances your ceremony with a complementary musical experience.
Ceremony Rehearsal Direction
As the only certified Wedding Entertainment Director in the area, Larry provides expert direction for your Ceremony Rehearsal. If you do not have a venue representative or wedding coordinator, Larry can professionally coordinate the walk-through, ensuring everyone in the wedding party, including parents, knows their roles and responsibilities. His thorough rehearsals are invaluable for a smooth ceremony.
