Located in Lexington, Kentucky, The Polo Barn at Saxony is a family-owned farm and rustic wedding venue that has been in operation for over 50 years. This fully functioning thoroughbred horse farm offers a one-of-a-kind setting for both indoor and outdoor events of nearly any size. Situated in Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, the venue is open year-round for weddings and special events.
Facilities and Capacity
This venue offers two polo barns that border a grassy field area lined with mature bur oak, maple, pecan, and sycamore trees. The large polo barn, one of the oldest barns on the property, features a 60-foot vaulted ceiling with cathedral-like beams. The small polo barn is designed for more intimate occasions and includes a kitchen for caterers. There is also ample outdoor space to accommodate a large tent near the custom-designed terrace area.
The property includes a newly built guest cottage specifically for the wedding party to prepare for the big day, as well as a newly constructed guest house for guests who wish to stay the whole weekend. This venue can accommodate parties as large as 500 guests. Additionally, the Man Cave offers a comfortable and entertaining space for the couple to prepare, with balconies overlooking the Bluegrass.
