History
Spindletop Farm was established in 1935 by Mildred (Pansy) Yount, who chose Kentucky as her fresh start following her husband’s death. Soon after, construction of Spindletop Hall began, and by early 1959, the farm was sold to the University of Kentucky. In 1962, Spindletop Hall became the residence of the University of Kentucky faculty, staff, and alumni club. Today, the Club boasts over 1,000 individual members, including families and couples, continuing its legacy as a cherished venue in the Bluegrass region.
