Hello! I’m Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville, but you can call me Jeff. As a retired Navy chaplain with 26 years of military service and a real church pastor (not just ordained online), I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my role as a wedding officiant. I delight in helping couples celebrate their love and commitment through fun and meaningful wedding ceremonies across Southern California and beyond—wherever you buy me a plane ticket!
Services Offered
Customized Ceremonies:
Whether indoors or outdoors, at a winery or golf club, on the beach, on a military base, or even in a hot air balloon, I can lead a highly customized, super-personalized wedding ceremony that suits your unique vision. If you need to be quickly and legally married at a low cost, I can assist with that as well.
Ceremony Elements:
Every ceremony includes faith-based elements, tailored to your preference. I can incorporate special elements like writing your own vows, a sand or wine-blending ceremony, and more. Portions of the ceremony can be conducted in Spanish or German if desired.
Levels of Service:
- Gold Package: Full-scale wedding ceremony with extensive customization and personalized touches.
- Silver Package: Mid-level service with a balance of customization and simplicity.
- Bronze Package: Basic legal wedding ceremony with minimal customization.
Optional Premarital Counseling:
I offer premarital counseling to help you and your partner prepare for a successful and fulfilling marriage.
Consultation Process
When you contact me, you will quickly receive detailed information, a sample customizable ceremony with your names already embedded, and available times for a free consultation by phone or video call. During the consultation, I will answer questions about the levels of service, fees, optional premarital counseling, and more.
Military Background
My military background enables me to confidently lead large groups and serve couples from diverse Christian faith backgrounds, including Roman Catholic and various Protestant denominations. I understand the importance of creating a ceremony that resonates with your beliefs and traditions.
Mini-Rehearsal
For full-scale weddings, I invite couples to my home in Temecula for a mini-rehearsal. This allows us to practice movements, say some of the words, and ensure you know which way to face, when to hand off flowers, and when to kiss. Couples feel more relaxed and comfortable knowing what to expect, and I will whisper soft cues during the ceremony so you don’t have to remember anything—just follow my lead.
Keepsakes
After the ceremony, I provide you with a souvenir (non-legal) marriage certificate and the full script of your ceremony as keepsakes to cherish.
