About Me
I am Rev. Shirley MacFarland, an experienced, ordained non-denominational wedding officiant based in Brecksville, Ohio. With over 20 years of experience, I have joyfully facilitated hundreds of weddings and life ceremonies. My goal is to assist you in planning a ceremony that reflects your unique love story, regardless of your spiritual or religious background. I focus on creating memorable, stress-free ceremonies tailored to your preferences.
Experience
As a non-denominational Spiritualist minister, I have been a featured guest minister at various Unity churches and have performed over 400 weddings. My approach at Divine Love Ceremonies emphasizes non-denominational, spiritually-minded ceremonies conducted in a non-religious manner. In addition to officiating weddings, I am a Reiki Master skilled in Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and Qigong. I have led a volunteer healing group at the Hitchcock Center for Women and served on the Healing Services Team at Medina Hospital in Cleveland.

I really lucked out with finding Shirley MacFarland! She gave us a Beautiful, lovely sermon for our wedding! Our 2 year old Chihuahua was our ring bearer and she did a lovely job including him in our ceremony! Her sermon was the perfect length, it really made a big impact for me and I didn’t know that it would! She comes with great experience, her recommendations for our unity ceremony were a great help to find one that was special to us! She helped us out so much at our rehearsal dinner getting our group organized so that on that big day, we were ready to go!
