You are encouraged to fully customize this versatile space to ensure a fully tailored experience for your one-of-a-kind celebration. The theatre offers the use of their very own lighting and sound system, as well as a projector and an upright piano.
The Great Hall is an ideal location for your reception. With high ceilings and large windows that provide a breathtaking view of Christ Church, this space offers a bright and airy atmosphere to host your gathering. This wheelchair-accessible venue offers nearby parking facilities.

Stress-free, Affordable and Unique City Venue
My hubs and I eloped in London and held a reception about 6 months later with all of our friends and family at Neighborhood House. It was exactly what we were looking for in terms of space size, flexibility, budget and accommodation. The great thing about the space (we used the upstairs theater) is its so customizable and has so much character — you can make it as simple or as extravagant as you want and the management won't push you one way or the other. Its in between a fully DIY space and a fully-managed space. You can select what services you want to bring in and what you want to do on your own (like music, cleaning, decorating, etc). Its location in Old City makes for incredible memories, photographs and other amenities. The staff were helpful, professional and responsive every step of the way. I rarely felt stressed or worried, if at all. In fact, it was actually FUN planning with CC Neighborhood House. You really can't find another space as unique and affordable in this part of the city. I also loved using the space because it helps support Philadelphia artists and preserves a corner of history.
