Our History

As a third-generation tailor, Cheryl began sewing at the young age of 12 under the tutelage of her grandfather, the late J.C. Lofton. Mr. J.C. Lofton was the first African American to have a tailoring school alongside a thriving business in downtown Washington, DC. His legacy of Quality, Integrity, and Community continues to define our services at Cheryl A. Lofton & Associates.
