Welcome to BarcStone Photography
Based in Anchor Point, Alaska, BarcStone Photography specializes in capturing unforgettable moments as a destination wedding photographer. Our owner and lead photographer, Krista Stone, launched her photography career in 2002 in England. With a rich background photographing across Europe, Krista eventually relocated to North Carolina before returning to her roots in Oregon. After eight years of marriage, Krista and her husband decided to embrace the Alaskan wilderness, where Krista continues to pursue her passion for photography. Her husband remains her biggest supporter and fan.
Krista’s love for travel is matched only by her love for capturing romance. She specializes in elopements but also enjoys photographing grand hall weddings. Her work has been featured in notable publications including Wedventure Magazine, PNW Weddings, LoveInc Magazine, the International Library of Photographers, and various local newspapers. As an added bonus, Krista offers no travel costs for weddings held in Alaska, making it easier for couples to have their dream destination wedding without additional expenses.
