The Lemp Mansion

Couples can choose from one of three historic venues when hosting their wedding through the Lemp Mansion in Saint Louis, Missouri. The pet-friendly venue was once home to the Lemp family, pioneers in brewing in Saint Louis. The 33-room mansion, already impressive when built, was transformed into a Victorian showplace by William J. Lemp, Sr., using his brewery fortune. Today, the Mansion offers exceptional dining, overnight accommodations, and event space for couples and their guests.

Facilities and Capacity

The venue features three spaces for weddings: the gazebo and patio, the grand hall, or Lemp’s loft. The gazebo, one of the largest privately owned in the city, can be paired with the tented patio to create a large, private area surrounded by black wrought-iron fencing. This space is ideal for ceremonies, receptions, or both. Lemp’s Grand Hall boasts original hard maple floors, a large bar, historic decor, and a deck overlooking the historic Lemp Brewery. Lemp’s Loft, a unique space formerly used as a hayloft for Lemp Brewery’s Percheron horses, has been renovated for private events. Couples can invite up to 275 guests, who will have access to the venue’s parking and wheelchair facilities.

Services Offered

Lemp Mansion provides liability insurance for events and offers assistance with an event planner and all-inclusive packages. Venue staff help with setup and cleanup, and the wedding party can use private get-ready rooms. While catering is available, couples can also bring their own vendors for flowers, cakes, or photography needs.

Cuisine

The catering team at Lemp Mansion supports couples with their reception, cocktail reception, dessert, hors d’oeuvres, and bar needs. Couples can choose from buffet, family-style, plated, or station serving options after a tasting to finalize their menu. The venue provides items such as chairs, tables, barware, china, flatware, glassware, and linens. With a liquor license, bartenders can serve from an open, cash, or limited bar. Beverage options include:

Accommodation
