MASS MoCA features a stunning array of indoor and outdoor event spaces in a 19th-century renovated factory. The Robert W. Wilson Building, with its 130,000-square-foot setting, offers majestic river views, historic windows, and a connecting balcony. The cathedral-inspired interior includes a balcony overlooking the event space, 19th-century mill columns, and hardwood floors, accommodating up to 300 guests. The Spencer Finch Gallery, with its colorful brick walls and cosmic lighting installation, can host up to 200 guests. The Museum Galleries and Sol LeWitt Galleries provide stylish settings with contemporary art and views of the Berkshire hills, suitable for various event sizes. Elopements can be held with as few as 10 guests.

History

With over 200 years of rich history, MASS MoCA occupies a vast complex of 19th-century mill buildings. Originally constructed in the 1890s, the site was a 26-building complex for manufacturing before becoming an electronics plant in the mid-1900s. After closing in 1985, the space was transformed into a contemporary art center, featuring changing exhibitions and performing arts events.
