Cedar Point Club

Location: Located near Suffolk, Virginia, Cedar Point Club offers a picturesque setting for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or luncheon. The Clubhouse can host up to 200 guests for a cocktail-style reception or a smaller, intimate gathering. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Nansemond River from both the clubhouse and the surrounding greens. For larger events, tents can be set up on the event lawn overlooking the river.

• Cedars on the Nansemond: This spacious dining room accommodates approximately 140 guests and features a neutral palate and modern feel that can be easily customized. Large windows provide stunning views of the Nansemond River.
• The Juniper Room: Accommodating up to 40 guests, this room offers a masculine aesthetic ideal for grooms and groomsmen to gather before a wedding. Named after Juniperus Virginiana, it also nods to the use of juniper berries in gin.
• The Godwin Room: Named after Governor Mills E. Godwin, this room serves as a blank canvas for events of up to 20 guests. It’s perfect for bridal showers, luncheons, or other intimate gatherings.

Services Offered: Cedar Point Club provides comprehensive event planning services, including rentals, room diagrams, décor, and customized menus. Full-service event professionals are available to help create bespoke events. Outdoor gatherings can be hosted under an arbor with views of the serene river. Free, ample parking is available at the club. Tours of the venue can be scheduled upon request.

Cuisine: The venue offers a diverse menu with options such as hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, a crepe station, salad bar, mac’n cheese bar, carving station, pasta station, and various entrees including chicken picatta, chicken marsala, grilled filet mignon, and wild-caught salmon. Barware, flatware, linens, china, and glassware are provided.

Event Planning Tiers: Cedar Point Club offers a tiered method of planning to simplify your event organization. Costs are all-inclusive (food, beverage, facility, services, and tax), with gratuity extended to the serving staff at your discretion. The minimum banquet and event total is 24 guests, with a maximum indoor capacity of 140 and indoor/outdoor capacity of 200.
