Pricing

We have a set price per wedding, which includes:

• Full, uninterrupted 2-day access to the house and grounds (available for ceremonies, receptions, or both)
• Guest attendance of up to 100 people
• A bridal suite
• Six private guest suites (with private bathrooms) for the wedding party or friends and family members
• Parking
• No restrictions on vendors
• Housekeeping

From ornate halls to beautifully maintained grounds, you’ll find the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

Your day begins in our bridal suite, known as the Loeb Suite, where you can prepare and enjoy those special pre-ceremony moments. This space provides a calm sanctuary for your wedding party and an ideal setting for stunning photography.

Whether you choose to exchange vows or host a remarkable reception, the Lafayette Loeb House is the perfect canvas for creating lasting memories. Our property also doubles as an Airbnb, offering a cozy home away from home for your out-of-town guests.

History

Nestled atop what was once a lone hilltop on Cincinnati Street, this Italianate home was completed in 1882 at the order of entrepreneur Emerson P. Knight. Although Emerson did not remain in Lafayette, his mark on the city endures. In 1895, the home was purchased by Solomon and Carrie Loeb, who lived here for over 50 years, raising three sons and thriving as notable figures in Lafayette. The Loeb family’s legacy includes a successful department store and various landmarks in the area. After Carrie Loeb’s death in 1950, the house was converted into apartments. However, it has since been restored to recapture its former grandeur, providing a luxurious inn for all to enjoy.
