The Howard County Conservancy is a countryside wedding venue situated in Woodstock, Maryland, just 15 minutes from Columbia and Ellicott City. This nature center offers multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, with eight ceremony location options, making it ideal for a variety of wedding celebrations. Conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington, DC, the Conservancy blends rural charm with modern comforts, providing an idyllic setting for engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions.

Facilities and Capacity Nestled on 232 acres of private property, the Conservancy is surrounded by abundant Maryland flora and fauna. Couples can exchange vows with the sound of trickling waters or walk down the aisle beneath endless blue skies. Highlights include:

• Theresa’s Garden: A peaceful outdoor area.
• Montjoy Barn: A rustic venue perfect for romantic ceremonies and stunning wedding photographs.
• Gudelsky Environmental Education Center: Accommodates 50 to 200 people, depending on the layout. Features eco-friendly elements, natural light, bamboo flooring, and exposed wooden beams. The largest function room is 2,400 square feet, suitable for theater-style or banquet seating. Additional amenities include a covered terrace, balcony, break room, and the Honors Garden.

Services Offered Couples can arrange their own outside vendors, and the Conservancy provides a variety of event supplies as part of the contract price. Available supplies include a 20-foot-tall screen, chairs, and round, rectangular, and cocktail tables.
