Originally commissioned by Andrew J. and Hedwig Nelson, immigrants from Sweden, Woodbine Mansion was meticulously crafted in Victorian style by the local Page Brothers. Completed in 1900 after a five-year construction period, the mansion underwent a notable transformation in 1931 to adopt the Greek Revival style, a rarity in Round Rock at the time. Purchased by the Crier-Goodrich family in the 1960s and renamed Woodbine, the mansion earned recognition as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1973. Today, under the stewardship of Robert and Olga Levin, along with event coordinator Becky Levin Navarro, Woodbine Mansion continues its legacy of hosting enchanting events steeped in history and elegance.
