Facilities and Capacity

Garey House accommodates intimate gatherings of 50-80 guests indoors, with a maximum capacity of 125 guests. In case of inclement weather, indoor ceremonies can host up to 90 guests, while larger parties of 100-125 guests may utilize a recommended tent setup. The venue features versatile spaces including the Event Lawn and Terrace patio for ceremonies, the Courtyard and back patio for cocktail hours, and the Great Room and Hall for receptions. The Great Room boasts a grand fireplace and direct access to the patio, offering a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.

Services Offered

The venue is equipped with built-in speakers and electrical hookups throughout its outdoor areas, ensuring a seamless experience for rented equipment. Wireless internet is available throughout the premises. Garey House offers flexibility with vendor choices, providing a list of preferred vendors while also allowing clients to bring in their own with prior approval. The venue supplies tables and fruitwood folding chairs and manages setup and teardown, ensuring convenience for your event.

History

Originally built in 1995 as a private residence for Jack and Cammy Garey, the property was generously donated to the City of Georgetown in 2004 along with funds for extensive renovations. After renovations commenced in spring 2017, Garey House proudly hosted its inaugural wedding in September 2018, marking the beginning of its legacy as a premier wedding destination in Texas.
